The Gentlemen of Harmony are an A Capella Barbershop men’s chorus with over 50 years of history during which time they have been a learning and performance vehicle for men of all ages who love to sing. In recent years active members have ranged in age from 16 to 89 years.
The chorus has been under the musical direction of Kevin Wentzell for eight years and in 2015 won third place medals and most improved chorus for Atlantic Canada. Sponsored by the City of Moncton, the chorus has performed in a variety of shows, church services and special event settings.
As active supporters of our veterans the men perform each year at Remembrance Day ceremonies and sing regularly at the veterans home.
The Gentlemen of Harmony are well known throughout the Greater Moncton community for their annual singing valentine campaign. Over the years, the chorus has raised over $28,000.00 for the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Speech Therapy Unit; a charity they hold near and dear.
As a non-profit performing chorus, The Gentlemen of Harmony has brought immense pleasure through the pursuit of the perfect harmonious sound to members and audiences alike for five decades and welcome all males who wish to learn this fine art.
